The commission's task is to take up and discuss suggestions for improvement, proposals and criticisms from the students and to involve them in improving the quality of studies and teaching.

Furthermore, students may also use the committee as a confidential point of contact for complaints and criticisms that could not be resolved with the instructor or within the department.
